The Teachers Choice Music Program is a new approach to learning music.
It is neither a vocal nor an instrumental program but rather an experiential theory program which allows students to interact both with the music and each other.
Each grade contains:

The program has been designed to allow the novice as well as the expert to facilitate music lessons, both accurately and effortlessly. Prior musical knowledge is not necessary, as all concepts are defined both in the lessons and the
Glossary of Terms provided at the back of each book. The program is self-contained; all resources needed for the delivery of the program have been supplied.
Each book contains elements from all three areas of learning:
knowledge
creative work
critical thinking
The Teachers' Choice Music Program consists of 3 teacher resource manuals and Audio CDs which provide all the necessary instructions, songs, and examples needed to successfully deliver the program.
The front cover of each book has been marked A, B, or C. It is recommended that skills and theory be covered in this order.
Foundational concepts begin in Grade 1 and are reinforced throughout the program in order to provide a smooth transition between grades.
This program has been designed for the teacher to facilitate:
Simply read through the procedure
Facilitate the lesson (each lesson should take approximately 30 minutes unless otherwise stated)
Administer the assignment
Assess student performance according to the answer sheets and guidelines provided
Record the mark on the Checklist Evaluation which has been provided at the end of each book
